Using any of the Buster Sword's abilities with a full Limit gauge will consume all of the Limit gauge and boost the attack's power, with their visuals also turning blue. If a player is at very low HP or downed, Finishing Touch will usually launch the victim into the sky and into the skybox's killbrick, killing them instantly. It only deals 1 point of damage, but does vertical knockback that scales with how low the victim's HP is, usually resulting in fall damage. With a full Limit gauge, instead of being able to charge, the left click attack becomes Finishing Touch, a medium sized AoE attack that manifests as a whirlwind and ragdolls anyone caught in the radius.
Once the Limit gauge is full, a bright blue aura will surround the wielder's body, even when the Buster Sword is unequipped. The Limit gauge also fills whenever dealing damage to enemies. The Limit gauge takes 40 seconds to charge, though this can be sped up with anything that boosts attack speed or slowed down with time slow this charging speed will be kept even after the speed change expires, as it is only checked when the player begins charging. A second hitbox appears at the apex of the launch, dealing another 30 damage. This launches the user into the air, and if they struck another player, that player will be brought into the air with them. Instead, by left clicking, the wielder can charge up their Limit gauge slowly. The Buster Sword has a 0.5s draw time and possesses no traditional melee attack.
